We are currently very excited about major renovations to our swimming pool, including a new spa, with gas and solar heating and a sleek new pool deck. The pool will be ready for the spring/summer season of 2011/2012 and we'll post photos of it here soon.
Our garden is responding to the warmer weather and the wealth of rain we've experienced in recent months, with our roses coming on nicely plus fruit developing on all our orchard trees including pears, peaches, apricots, figs and persimmons, plus fragrant citrus blossoms on our cumquat, lime, lemon, grapefruit, ruby grapefruit, orange and mandarin trees, already promising to replenish the last of the late season fruits we're still harvesting.
Our herd of Angus cows are relishing the abundant clover that has come up with the moisture from the excellent season we're enjoying - they look so plump and contented in their green fields; and our little flock of chickens is also enjoying life, judging by their regular production of sweet, fresh eggs.
We're revelling in the blush of life that Spring brings to our place and we'd love to share it with you!
